Here is an example of a pond stone waterfall wall we added to an existing pond.
Solving stone and rock problems for ponds and waterfalls.
A client in the Forest Hills area of Nashville TN approached us with a difficult to maintain pond and stream. The stream and waterfall / pond needed to be cleaned every year and with a long stream this made the cost excessive. We used the stone from the stream to build a 12′ long wall by 2′ tall with a concrete foundation next to the existing pond. There was no issue with electricity because an outlet had been installed near by years ago.
Finding good stone for the waterfall wall.
The stream was loaded with beautiful fieldstone so selecting pieces to build the wall was a snap. The waterfall system consisted of a waterfall box that holds a bio media ball bag and filters so now the client will easily clean the pond water and have access to the filters right at the top of the waterfall box. All of the stonework is mortared with the drystack look that is much loved across middle Tennessee. We didn’t have to bring in any stone or rock for the project because of the high quality and volume of stone the client had. If you are in the Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Spring Hill, or Nolensville TN areas we can help you with stonework / masonry repairs, or new projects.
